Volunteering with Medworks

Team Volunteering

One of the cornerstones of our dental practice is service to the community. We became dentists not just because we love the science of keeping teeth healthy and the artistry involved in creating a beautiful smile, but because dentistry allows us to use our talents and interests to serve others. This is one of the reasons our team at Bellissimi Dental volunteers with Medworks.

Services include medical, dental, and vision care; the organization uses a Care + Connect approach that seeks to provide not only immediate services, but also help patients get the follow-up care they need with local providers.

Medworks services include:

  • Medical consults
  • Dental services
  • Eye exams & prescription eyeglasses
  • Cancer screenings
  • Nutrition counseling
  • Mental health assessments
  • Follow-up appointments
  • Health insurance

  • Community resources

As dental professionals who volunteer at Medworks, our team provides comprehensive dental evaluations, oral cancer screenings, dental hygiene services, tooth extractions, and restorative care, including dental fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures.

Find an Upcoming Free Clinic

If you are uninsured or underinsured and you’re unable to afford dental or medical care, you can find upcoming free clinics on the Medworks website. There are in-person free clinics and also telehealth clinics that allow patients to consult with healthcare professionals over the computer or phone. All services are free, but appointments are necessary to reserve a spot.

Give to Medworks

While healthcare providers throughout the Greater Cleveland area generously donate their services to Medworks, monetary donations are also needed for equipment and supplies. If you have the means, visit the Medworks website to donate to their Annual Fund

You can also volunteer with Medworks, even if you’re not a healthcare professional. Medworks needs interpreters, social workers, guides, and volunteers to set up and take down equipment during clinics.
